Having worked for more than a decade in the film industry, Ron Morales has found his voice as a director by blending moral complexities with brutal shades of reality into compelling narratives. After receiving a degree in photography from Parsons School of Design, Ron continued on to NYU Tisch School of the Arts and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film in 2001.
Ron directed his award-winning feature film Graceland (2012), which won Second Place Audience Award from Tribeca Film Festival 2012 and Best Narrative Feature Award from San Diego Asian Film Festival 2012. Graceland (2012) was shortlisted for the Academy Award for ‘Best Foreign Film’ at the Academy of the Philippines. and was theatrically released in the United States in 2013 by Drafthouse Films. Ron is repped at The Paradigm Talent Agency. |

Rebecca Lundgren is a multifaceted independent filmmaker, who produced the critically-acclaimed independent feature film Graceland (Ron Morales, 2012). Over the years Rebecca has held numerous positions in the industry and worked on high profile productions, Men in Black III (Barry Sonnenfeld, 2012) and J.J. Abrams′ Person of Interest. Rebecca graduated Magna cum Laude in Dance and English from Mount Holyoke College in 2006, and received her M.A. in Performing Arts Administration from New York University in 2010.
Joshua Sobel was Co-Executive Producer of Ron Morales’ Graceland (Ron Morales, 2012) and went on to Executive Produce Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s Scherzo Diabolico (2015) and Black Circle (2018). In 2016, he produced Are We Not Cats (Xander Robin, 2016) which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival 2016 Critics’ Week. Most recently he produced Edgar Nito’s feature debut, The Gasoline Thieves (2019) which won the Best New Narrative Director Award at the Tribeca Film Festival 2019.
JB Rodriguez Eudela is a prolific producer/filmmaker who started his career working for Digitank studios Inc. in Manila the Philippines. Since then he has produced several films and numerous shorts. JB’s mission is to make films that not only entertain but also inspire. In a short time, JB has produced, a number of socially responsible projects including, the documentary After Haiyan (Michael Nedelman, 2014), the ABC’s for Global Health (JB Rodriguez Eudela, 2015) and consulted as a video producer for Save the Children, Australia. |

Synopsis |
Dawn Jennings, a foreign journalist, partners with a local confidant and colleague to investigate several murders in the Philippines. Her world is changed irrevocably, when she witnesses the execution of her only lead along with a gun for hire vigilante in a local drug den. Now a witness, Dawn escapes into an adjacent maze of shanties controlled by a decorated Police Captain covering up his involvement in corruption and drug trafficking. He orders his men to find and kill her.
Covertly, the Vigilante had a partner who ends up rescuing Dawn from the pursuing police squad. But instead of saving her, Dawn is used as bait. Amidst the deadly game of cat and mouse, somewhere on the edge of desperation, Dawn manages to stay alive agreeing to help the partner seek revenge. Together, this mismatched duet develops a peculiar relationship, culminating in the revelation of secrets that will have both of them questioning their lives...
