Director’s Profile

Chen Yu-hsun has been well liked by audiences worldwide for his down-to-earth, interesting, yet meaningful movies. His first movie, Tropical Fish, with a humorous melodrama approach, brought audiences to a new level of appreciation toward Taiwanese movies, while earning the Golden Horse Awards for Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress. His second movie, Love Go Go, explores the love stories of ordinary people, breaking the traditional mold of handsome and beautiful pairs, as seen in many movies. Love Go Go received six Golden Horse nominations and won the Awards for Best Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress. My Missing Valentine (aka. One Day) will be Chen Yu-hsun third movie, continuing with his unique humor.

Synopsis

Xiao Chi wakes up in the morning and realizes that her long awaited Valentine’s Day has already passed. She goes to the police to file a report, but there is no way to get her lost day back. My Missing Valentine is a story about Xiao Chi, who is always a step ahead and her first love who is always a step behind, finally meeting after 20 years apart.
