Synopsis
The disastrous earthquake and Tsunami occurred in Okushiri Island, Hokkaido in 1993, took the whole family away from 9-year old Hana in front of her eyes. At that moment, she became an orphan. But the next day, she met a man, whose name is Jungo. He was 25 years old, 16 years older than Hana. Jungo did everything to adopt Hana and they became `family.` Since then, they lived together for 15 years, just two of them. Father and daughter were very close Jungo loved Hana with all his heart and soul. Hana loved him back just as much. The story of them starts from the rainy Tokyo evening in the year of 2008, just a day before the wedding of Hana. Then, the story goes backwards in time to their past, to Monbetsu 1993, just like flipping pages of an old photo album.
