Starting this year, Asian Project Market newly appointed APM Award Jury members who select the recipients of the APM Busan Award, Songwon Award and KB Award.

Christian JEUNE

Director of Film Department - Deputy General Delegate, FESTIVAL DE CANNES

Christian Jeune started at the Festival de Cannes as a local intern in 1983 while pursuing his studies, going on to join the Film Department at its Paris office in 1995. Since 1999 he has been the director of the same department, and in 2003 he became Deputy to the General Delegate, Thierry Frémaux. Under his position, he takes care of the selection process, in connection with the different players. He has also travelled widely for the last 20 years, mainly in Asia to scout films and visit members of the world industry. He has served on the jury of many festivals (Busan, Tokyo, Adelaide, Taipei, Bangkok, Macao…). He has also translated over 100 films from English to French, including three films in the Bourne series, the three Kingsman films, and many more.

CHOI Yoonhee

CEO, BARUNSON E&A

Choi Yoonhee is a film producer and the CEO of Barunson E&A, recognized for her influential work in the global content market.
While at CJ ENM, she led international distribution and global strategy, playing a pivotal role in the Oscar campaign for Bong Joonho’s Parasite (2019), which became the first Korean film to win four Academy Awards. She also contributed to the global success of major Korean films such as The Handmaiden (Park Chan-wook, 2016), The Spy Gone North (Yoon Jong-bin, 2018), and The Fortress (Hwang Dong-hyuk, 2017), as well as localized remakes of Miss Granny in Vietnam, Indonesia, and China. Her efforts extended to the international distribution of key Asian titles, including Joko Anwar’s Impetigore (2019) and Satan′s Slaves: Communion (2022), significantly advancing the globalization of K-content and broader Asian cinema. She also produced several films including Seobok (Lee Yong-zoo, 2021), Hard Hit (Kim Chang-ju, 2021), and Nothing Serious (Jeong Ga-Young, 2021). Since joining Barunson E&A in 2021, she has overseen the company’s investment and distribution of films such as Cobweb (Kim Jee-woon, 2023), Amazon Bullseye (Kim Chang-ju, 2024), and The World of Love (Yoon Ga-eun, 2025). Currently, she is expanding Barunson E&A’s IP portfolio through international co-productions and global sales of titles such as Respati (Sidharta Tata, 2024), Rangga & Cinta (Riri Riza, 2025), and Don’t Cry Butterfly (Duong Dieu Linh, 2024), strengthening its global strategy across Korea and Southeast Asia.

SHEN Yang

Independent Film Producer

As a producer, Shen’s credits have been selected by A Category international film festivals such as Cannes Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, and Locarno Film Festival, earning major awards. Her work includes The Wild Goose Lake (Diao Yi'nan, 2019), Black Coal, Thin Ice (Diao Yi'nan, 2014), Kaili Blues (Bi Gan, 2015), Long Day’s Journey into Night (Bi Gan, 2018), The Pluto Moment (Zhang Ming, 2018) and May (Luo Dong, 2023), etc. She also served as Artistic Consultant on Fire on the Plain (Zhang Ji, 2021) and Absence (Wu Lang, 2023). Beyond production, Shen founded key sections of Shanghai International Film Festival - including the Asian New Talent Award, SIFF Project, and Student Shorts Award - supporting new voices and shaping the landscape of Asian independent cinema.
