Synopsis
Misaki has an incurable disease (ALS) and her high schooler son, Tasuku, must take care of her and do the housework all by himself. He always carries an alarm sensor so that his mother can signal for help when he′s in another room, and its maximum range is "90 meters." Although Tasuku wants to enjoy afterschool activities and hang out with his classmates, he misses out because he must care for his mother. Tasuku is about to graduate from high school and is worried about his career path, wondering which he will choose, caring for his mother or pursuing his own dreams. Meanwhile, as Misaki approaches death, she wonders how to live the remainder of her life. The two sometimes give each other some space because they care about each other. When Tasuku decides to embark on a new journey, Misaki also decides to make a choice. The distance of 90 meters, once hated, has now become a loving and comfortable distance for both mother and son.
